Do you have the issue of not being able to save Instagram stories with music for yourself? Instagram Music isn’t available everywhere in the world. So, if you cannot access Instagram Music for yourself or see others’ videos with it, you know your area doesn’t allow the feature.
Unfortunately, this is no direct way to even see an Instagram story with music playing in it. You’d have to download it and then see it. But if you are okay with downloading and seeing it, keep on reading.
We will be sharing how to save Instagram Stories with Music today. These are some tricks to be able to save Instagram stories with music, and you wouldn’t need a VPN to change your location for it.
How to Save Instagram Stories with Music?
As we mentioned already, you might be seeing people’s stories with music, minus the music itself. But with these ways, you can save Instagram stories with music on your gallery, and sometimes on your Instagram feed too.
- Third-party apps
- Web-based applications
- Upload it as a reel video or a post
- Archive or highlight your video
1. Third-party apps
These are apps like ‘InStore’, which helps you download others’ Instagram stories with music in them. The downloaded video will have music in it as well. Once you’ve installed ‘InStore’, this is how you download the video:
i. Download ‘InStore‘ from the Play Store.
On Instagram, open the options from the story or the post.
ii. Press ‘Share to’ and tap InStore’s icon.
There are other apps like ‘Downloader for Instagram’, ‘Story Saver’ that can help you save Instagram stories with music too. Some apps might require you to log into your Instagram account first. The same process is applied by iPhone as well.
2. Web-based applications
If you do not want the trouble of downloading an app, you can download the stories through web-based applications like ‘instaSave’ in this way:
i. On Instagram, open the options from the story or the post.
ii. Press ‘Copy Link’.
iii. Open ‘instaSave’ to paste the link and press ‘Download Now’.
iv. Press ‘DOWNLOAD’.
3. Upload it as a reel video or a post
Many times, people have uploaded their stories as a regular post or in their reels as well. Since an Instagram story stays for only 24 hours, a post stays until you decide to delete it. This way you are saving the story for yourself and everyone else to see.
You can do this for your regular videos or if you’ve changed your phone’s location to be able to use the ‘Instagram Music’ feature.
4. Archive or highlight your video
You do both of these only to your own Instagram stories. While archiving a video saves your video only for you to be able to see, highlighting it will enable people who can view your profile too.
To archive your story, you have to go to your Instagram profile and go to Settings. Choose ‘Privacy’ and click on the ‘Story’ option. Then, enable ‘Save Story to archive’.
To highlight your story, open the story you want to highlight and then press ‘Highlight’ and create a highlighted folder, and press ‘Add’.
How to save Instagram story in gallery?
First, you’d have to see if you’ve allowed Instagram access to your gallery or not. After that, you have to open your story, open the settings and then click ‘Save Photo’.
Yes, we know, this is very manual but it works. You could save it even before you post it. You could create the story first, save it, review it and then post it. This is also applicable to saving Instagram stories with music without posting as well.
Hence, this is how to save Instagram stories with music. Now, you can save others’ videos and hear their music, even if it is not available in your country. But do remember that stories are available for 24 hours only.
So, you will have to download the story within the time frame, or else your chance is gone. You are safe if they have uploaded the same story on their feed too. Do keep that in mind.
