To report a Telegram Group, you need to be a member of the group. There are two types of groups on Telegram:
- Basic Group – Can have up to 200 members including bots; can only be a private group
- Supergroup – Can have up to 100,000 members including bots, can be both private or public groups

1. Go to the Telegram group you want to report.
2. Click on the three vertical dots and press Report.
3. Tap on the specific reason why you want to report the group.
4. Type in additional details relevant to your report and press ‘Send Report’.
Note: If your reasons aren’t Spam, Violence, Pornography, then you have to click the Other section and describe your reason before sending the report.
How do I report a Telegram group for copyright?
All you have to do is submit a complaint to [email protected] if you are the copyright owner. Other than the publicly available features of a bot, channel, sticker set, if anything which is your copyright gets infringed, then you have to submit a complaint. And, according to Telegram’s FAQs, you should submit a complaint only if you are the copyright owner or you have received the authority to act from the owner’s part.
